Driftless Area Fishing

The Wisconsin Driftless Area is home to 13,000 miles of fishable spring creeks

The Driftless

The geographic marvel known as the Driftless Area. This landscape was spared from the movements of the last Ice Age that plowed the northern midwest into flat prairie. This area is topographically unique and has over 5,000,000 acres of public land and over 13,000 miles of spring creeks that contain trout. Lots of trout! Many people consider this region to be the “Montana of the Midwest.” We specialize in fishing Vernon County around Viroqua, Wisconsin. This area hosts 65 limestone spring creeks that can be fished Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
